Rap star Kanye West's 35-minute, epic music video for "Runaway" caught our attention last Fall because it featured a prancing flock of ballerinas to culturally-anoint the rapper's massive ego (samples of Mozart's Lacrimosa didn't hurt either).
Runaway is just one of the tracks from Kanye's fifth studio release, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy", an album that was praised by critics for its experimental and subversive themes.
American artist George Condo's paintings added to the album's eye-catching presentation, and now the Kanye machine has cranked into overtime, teaming-up with m/m (paris) to offer a limited edition collection of 5 silk scarves, each in a series of 100 replications only. Condo's surreal and fantasy proportions are given new light, and cool to note that the ballerina design is already sold-out.
