The Metropolitan Opera has just announced that New York-born tenor, Dimitri Pittas, will
sing the performances of April 11, 15, and 18 L’Elisir d’Amore, filling in for a laryingitis-stricken Rolando Villazon.
Pittas made his MET debut in 2005, and is a graduate of the Met’s Lindemann
Young Artist Development Program.
