Krystian Zimerman has cancelled his Italian tour, citing health reasons. He was supposed to play the last concert of Teatro Regio di Parma's symphonic season on May 17, but if you had tickets, you can ask for a refund from the theater until June 16. He's also cancelled a May 8 concert for the Concorso Paganini di Genova and is replaced by young violinist Francesca Dego.
Zimerman's that dude who ships his own piano to recitals and tries to boycott America for political reasons, but shows up anyway and freaks out mid-rectial, like he did in 2009 in Los Angeles.
