This afternoon in Milan's bohemian Navigli neighborhood at Auditorium di Milano, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano G.Verdi (laVerdi for short) announced the appointment of American conductor, John Axelrod, as their new Principal Conductor for an initial contract of three years. He joins current Musical Director Zhang Xian and frankly we can't wait to discover what he has planned for Milan's little symphonic gem.
