Big props to OC favorite Roberto Abbado who, ANSA news agency reports, last night enjoyed a nice success at Berlin's Deutsche Oper with his Don Giovanni in the idiosyncratic production by Roland Schwab. The cast included Ildebrando d'Arcangelo as Don Giovanni, Marina Rebeka as Donna Anna, Alex Esposito as Leporello and Martina Welschenbach as Zerlina.
