From the vaults of Teatro alla Scala's atelier comes "Il costume veste la musica", a free exhibition in Milan's Palazzo Morando (which closes on September 12). On via Sant'Andrea #6, it's just steps away from Roger Vivier, Hermes, Church's, and Chanel's windows, but the items are not for sale. The clothes, hats, and jewels from the atelier of Teatro alla Scala are on display as a celebration of the workshop: fabrics, cuts, design, and embroidery from fifty+ La Scala productions (opera and ballet) of the past decade.
