Earlier today in Milan, Aldo Buzzi, writer and architect and film maker and foodie and essayist of rare intelligence and wit, friend of Saul Steinberg (New Yorker link here), a man of great taste, passed away at his home.
Buzzi's Italian publisher, Ponte Alle Grazie, has confirmed the sad news.
Opera Chic's readers who have never been acquainted with his work might start with "The Perfect Egg" published in English by Bloomsbury or "A Weakness For Almost Everything" published by Steerforth.
