The new opera house in Oslo, built at a cost of about $700 million, designed by Snøhetta (the d00ds who designed the new Alexandria Library in Egypt and the Serpentine Gallery Pavillion in Hyde Park, London) boasts a white Italian marble exterior, and will be inaugurated on April 12.
