Film director Emir Kusturica, whose career has been one giant moment of genius and whose life has been one long, long bad hair day (the greasy mullet is so not working, not that it ever has), has taken Paris with his freaky punk-opéra, Le Temps Des Gitans, adaptation of his 0wn 1989 film (a really cool film, by the way), the opera has now received ovations at Opèra de Paris last night.
