Better Than Möst: 10-Minute-Long Ovation At Scala For Welser-Möst "Fidelio" With Stemme, Seiffert

Earlier tonight at la Scala, the performance -- in concert form -- of "Fidelio": the Wiener Staatsoper conducted by Franz Welser-Möst and the cast (led by Peter Seiffert and Nina Stemme), enjoyed a massive, 10-minute ovation by the audience.

And Then Siegfried Kissed Brunnhilde: Nina Stemme & Vienna Opera

First, we made fun of it.

But then, for other reasons, we weren't that far from the scene of the crime. And Nina Stemme's Brunnhilde is kind of worth the (steep) price of the ticket by herself.

Btw, Jessica's buddy is rawking Vienna.
