@Amanda: in every wind instrument, it is possible to get higher tones by 'overblowing'. Problem: the vuvuzela itself is not well suited to this technique. The demonstration here is only possible because these guys are professional musicians with a lot of experience, and even they have problems with the intonation.

@amanda white vuvuzela's are monotone..
But they put their mouthpiece on the vuvuzela.. that's why they can produce other tones, look where they put theur hand when theyre playing the tune.. the 2nd tune the other player plays a monotone sound, so he holds his hands on a different part of the vuvuzela..
