(Don't) Do The Right Thing: Spike Lee Exits The Met

 

Opera Chic always answers the question "how do you make opera cool" with: first, you take cool people to the opera. America's coolest film director & general smartypants, Spike Lee, went to the Met's Armida and a good time was apparently had by all (except him):

Also spotted, all decked out in YSL (but opera fan Stefano Pilati had to remain in Paris, working hard on the new collection): Renee Fleming fan Ginnifer Goodwin, Chloe Sevigny and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Unlike Spike, they stayed for the duration of show. More photos, and an idea for the Met (or NYCO), after the jump!

 

Opera Chic can't wait to see Spike direct Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the Met, by the way. Wouldn't that be awesome? If the Met's too chicken, NYCO should totally ask him to.

Understand a little in women's decking, but this brunette in the upper picture is a smart(in her pants;)))) for me;))) The only inquiry - why did she paint her nails in dark violet? Is she a kind of some smarty vampire girl or other Armida's ghosts or what?;))))
As to me (at my farm, alas;))) - my pants are of Calvin Klein and I bet I'm smart in them too;) So I'm also in smart pants, but not smartypants;)))) It's a good reason to be acquainted with that girl (or maybe with Renée herself;)))))) Mister Gelb would also be fine ... to express to him my respect;))))))))
