The Times writes about Danielle de Niese in an article (that just doesn't translate well into American) "Diva of the Downs" and joined the singer in her Glyndebourne digs shared with Gus Christie and his four sons (and a Portuguese water puppy!) She hints at a transition into television media, participating in a forthcoming BBC reality show called The Diva Diaries.

This one is more desperate than Jenkins. I don't think her singing is terrible, but she gets roles that are completely wrong for her vocal type (Mozart, Verdi, etc.) by grand ego. They didn't go out of their way to make her look good. For that matter Gus either!

After reading the times article.I found it was rather amusing and so pretentious of Mrs.Gus ala Danielle.
Excuse me..Froi Gras?
What bull craptacularness of an article is that..lol
On the arm of her husband?
Is Danielle admitting to being a trophy wife?
Or Gus's Cash Cow to bring in Money to Glydeborne or Some mid life crisis romance/career making bride?
OR all of the above?
One wonders what will come out of that gas trap of hers.
If only class could be bought.Sadly,It can't.
Some women own it and some just don't!
It is painfully and sadly clear Danielle De Niese Christie is so full of herself.
I am surprised that with such a huge ego the interviewer was able to fit into the room.
It is very very sad.
She is not a terrible talent or a bad singer.
But her attitude and demeanor makes her come out as a fake and a flake!
I guess when one so young has it all..She thinks she is the cat's meow..
I guess the joke is on Danielle.OOOpppsss...lol
