Roughly a year ago, Opera Chic wrote about dedicated opera fans Dolce and Gabbana (who she bumps into at La Scala every December 7th during the season openers) and their further immortalizing of the (already) immortal Maria Callas with the unveiling of a winter collection full of silk screened la Divinas. And although the fashion designers wanted to additionally use La Scala's playbills on their clothing, they appropriated La Fenice's vintage logos due to Scala's thorny licensing lock down.
If you wanted to get your hands on a bit of Callas (or Norma or Traviata) couture, the D&G store is selling items at discount from the vintage opera-influenced line. We'd so splurge on the Norma gown for $1700, but it's just way too meta for O.C.
Save your money, OC! That dress is UGLY! Except for the bodice, actually.

Why don't they make a men's version in a pullover or workpants?
