He was, actually, offside when the ball was crossed to him, but the linesman, like most Italian linesmen missed it. Tough break for Siena who were ahead for much of the match. This match was also as good as my experience of Rosenkavalier at the Met where the Fleming and Graham again delivered the goods in spades with Edo de Waart staying out of the way most of the time.
