Musician Yefim Bronfman may be the best interpreter of BF4E Esa-Pekk's piano works in addition to an all-around prankster, but he also knows his way around the kitchen. This Sunday, August 9 at 9pm (NYC time), Bronfman trades his sheet music for a fork & knife, and will sit on the panel of judges for the Food Network's Iron Chef America, the imported Japanese cult show where two chefs battle in a timed trial, flaunting their improvisational culinary skills around a secret ingredient.
Bronfman will weigh the plates of Chef Francois Kwaku-Dongo vs. Iron Chef Michael Symon. Can he just do us a quick favor and knock Alton Brown into a sizzling vat of bacon fat?
