It doesn't the make the news of the disappearence, at the end of this season, of the glorious Amato Opera in New York City, any less sad; but it's nice to see that Jonathan Torgovnik's images taken at the Amato Opera Theater, New York for Geo have won the 3rd Prize in the Arts & Entertainment category at World Press Photo. Amato Opera will be missed by many, not just in New York.
