Working Class Hero: Roberto Bolle is A-Okay

Bolle01

That hawt slab of ballerino meat, Roberto Bolle, is prancing his way across magazine covers, and his next grand pas landed him on Max magazine's January cover, "The New King of New York" (a cover he shares -- in the back -- with Rosario Dawson eeeewww), and we're fonduing ourselves. Actually, tbh, these aren't the best shots we've seen...which were taken by Mr. Alessandra Ferri, Fabrizio.

Anyway, the article shows, once again, that the dancer (born on March 26, 1975 in Casale Monferrato) despite global fame and success and those snazzy ad campaigns (Salvatore Ferragamo worldwide, GAP in the USA and Canada, Fiuggi water with a stunning Fabrizio Ferri-directed TV ad) is a stubbornly decent guy with the right priorities. A family man, he spent the holidays in a very uncelebritylike way -- back home with his relatives (he's got three brothers and his beloved sister Emanuela is also his manager and most trusted adviser -- "I manage to shop for groceries online, but thankfully she's the one who takes care of paying my utility bills", he jokes).

Bolle's classy enough to avoid slamming the easiest of targets, the Italian TV show Amici, a supercheesy, wildly popular sort of dance-based American Idol that's universally slammed by basically everybody in the arts: "Their success makes me happy; it's a good way to expose the TV watching public to dance. But ballet is different, it needs a different kind of TV show, and that's why I would not appear there" (Bolle does not mention that in the magazine, but Opera Chic heard that he was indeed offered a very substantial check to appear on the show).

But our favorite quote from the notoriously hard-working Roberto -- who left home at 13 to go to Milan and attend Scala's accademia di ballo and has basically trained daily ever since -- is: "TV and the media too often repeat the wrong message, that hard work is not necessary to achieve something. I completely disagree with that attitude, hard work is everything. I like Obama because he set an example".

oh la la! I only like the picture of him on the car. Looking good, Bobby!

Ok, I have to admit, he is beautttttiiiifullll...

why he gives us Obama as an example!!!!!I hate it when an artist in this level is impressed by a politician!!if Roberto appeared in Amici it would be more acceptable for me instead of giving his fans a politician example!!!!

I want to admit that Roberto himself is an example!!!!Bravo Roberto!!!!!!!!
