Charlotte Church's Classical Comeback
Lascia Ch'io Pianga, indeed.
Charlotte Church is plotting a return to classical music.
The Welsh star (this link NSFW, not safe for work) is reportedly having secret singing lessons in a bid to rediscover the remarkable voice which first catapulted her to stardom at the age of 12.

What iz this? Bewb envy week at OC?

No, I'm doing O.K., CM.
I prefer to consider it "bewbs awareness", it's good to introduce bewbs in the classical music dialogue, I notice we started the trend and people are following. I think we're on to something here (I won't say "we've put our finger on something" for obvious reasons).
But the meme, it's spreading.

Hey, we've all heard about the importance of being careful with your chest notes if you're a classically trained singer, but this is insane.

More Opera MILFs are very welcome

Wow... I need to listen to opera more often!

Well, it will be Bewbs Cancer Care support weekend, this w/e, so even a Charlotte Church pic can be useful for once. ;)

Wow, OC, you and LaCieca are on a bewb-lovefest lately. She's been posting a truckful of boobage too. Is it the year of the Boob? National Opera Cleavage Awareness Month? Singer Titty Appreciation Week?
What's up? (Not complainin', just explainin')

I'm glad to see that our Charlotte is ... ah ... developing. One can only hope that she has no itention of singing Cherubino.
Speaking of "bewbs" I finally got to see our wonderful Danielle live for the first time in Fancuilla last week - now there's "bewbs" and voce. Hoping to get something up on the blog about it later today.

isn't her boyfriend a rugby player? They like 'em big, no?
Posted by: Beate | April 16, 2008 at 09:00 AM
Yes, Beate, they do. And being able to tolerate mud, lots of beer and sing "Swing low, sweet chariot" etc also comes in handy.

I honestly don't remember her having such a remarkable voice. Good, ok. Better than most 12 year olds. ok. Remarkable. No. Not really. No. Maybe the ginormous bewbs will help.

FYI, that picture was taken while she was pregnant. That changes a woman's body shape a bit!!
Posted by: Chantelle | April 16, 2008 at 08:39 PM
Pregnant? Well, in that picture she does have twins.

Bibbidi bobbidi bloblos ! Yikes, OC, if you're going to flash those headlights at least give an Amaurosis Fugax warning to your more photosensitive readers. I'm flash blinded... ;-)

I guess the underwire in the dress is necessary!
