The Los Angeles Times thinks that the opera version of The Grapes Of Wrath is teh awezzom, and its composer Ricky Ian Gordon is so cool he evidently isn't even human anymore:
"Ricky Ian Gordon, an exuberant New York songwriter with one foot on Broadway, one in the Copland style and an extra foot or two available for rhapsodic operatic elaborations."
One word: eeeeewwww.
